Sophie Brookes
This piece is looking into the gentle, yet potentially destructive elements of fluidity; a double edged sword with intensely opposite effects. It is an attempt to capture the sinister, stained and deadly liquid of Heroin; Yet is also an attempt to capture the beautiful, 'out of body' and blissful effects it may have. Other work from this series combines this notion of liquid heroin, with the idea of memory and berievement.
