I am currently working for installation art by using prints, paintings, video works, sculptures.
I enjoy the combination of different media in the space and the time.
This Degree Show works came from a matter of interests in my life and my memory. The subject is based on trees as media to connect my memories and present time or present moment, present space in the installations.
Firstly, my print works are transfers from photo of different aspect of trees with beautiful colours. I focused on the surface of tree in this media.
Next, the video work show the moment of shaking tree by winds, this also shows the different aspect of tree in the time and moment.
Also, the sculptures are outputs from the image of films in the moment. The wood shows the materiality of inside of tree rather than the surface of tree in my prints.
I would like to show the interesting connection between trees and others in the way of contemporary art.
